Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Pittsburgh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Calzones suck. All bread. No actual filling. Way too expensive for what you get. Many other places you can go that are cheaper with double the serving size and filling. They skimp on ingredients here

Iβve never had greasier slop. These calzones are large and thin. Thereβs barely any filling and what is there is seriously under seasoned. The wings were mushy on the outside and still cold/frozen near the bone! I love to see a place open late at night but I shanβt be back and will remember the wasted $35 for a while to come π

Not local to the area, we got back to the hotel super late (3 am-ish) and were desperate for food but not desperate enough to pay hotel prices for frozen dishes. Found this place on DoorDash and noticed it was within a quarter of us so we placed an order through their website, and walked to pickup. Iβm glad we went in, the staff were incredibly nice, very informative, and brought an amazing atmosphere even at 3 am, they were truly amazing. A beacon of light in the dark of night for certain. The food though, that was even better. We got 4 different ones to get a well rounded view of this place and honestly words could not describe how great the calzones were, and the prices were great too! An above 5 star experience all around! Thank you. We may have to come back just for some calzones sometime :)

D. P. Dough is a great addition to Carson Street. Mainly known for being near a college atmosphere it fits in quite well. Open 7 days a week from 11 am to 4 am you can't go wrong. Food is cheap and full of flavor and also includes a wide selection. Staff was friendly and got our food out quick. If your craving late night food this is a good choice.
